Questions to ask before choosing a clinic

The short answer

What should I ask a clinic before booking All-on-4 or All-on-6?

Ask six things in writing: who places the implants and designs the bridge (names and specialties); whether planning is CT-guided; which implant brand and bridge material are quoted; what the written guarantee covers; how the two visits are scheduled; and what UK aftercare support exists. Benchmark answers against our disclosed clinical partner, Taki Dent, whose published credentials appear below.

Every question on this page has the same purpose: to move a clinic from "sounds impressive" to "verified in writing" before you commit to All-on-4 or All-on-6. Work through them by email with each clinic on your shortlist — drawn, for example, from our verified listings for Antalya, Istanbul, Izmir — and keep the replies. A clinic's willingness to answer precisely is itself a diagnostic: the best full-arch teams answer these questions every week and have the documents ready.

Wherever in Turkey you are researching, the regulatory baseline is the same: dental clinics are licensed by the Turkish Ministry of Health, and clinics treating international patients should additionally hold the Ministry's International Health Tourism authorisation. Both are documents a clinic can show you — and for a procedure as involved as All-on-4 or All-on-6, both are worth asking for by name before you discuss prices at all.

Turkey performs a high volume of full-arch implant procedures for overseas patients, which is precisely why clinic selection deserves care: volume produces both deeply experienced specialist teams and opportunistic operators. The listings on this page are verified business records, not endorsements; the verification framework below is how you separate the two categories for yourself.

What does a complete pre-booking checklist look like?

Copy this into your email to each shortlisted clinic. Every item should come back answered, in writing, before you pay a deposit.

  1. Please confirm your Ministry of Health operating licence and International Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate.
  2. Who will place my implants and who will design my bridge? Please give names and specialty titles.
  3. Will my procedure be planned from a CBCT scan, and what would make you recommend All-on-6 over All-on-4 for me?
  4. Which implant system and which final bridge material are included in my quote?
  5. Please send your written guarantee terms for both the implants and the prosthesis.
  6. How are my two visits scheduled day by day, and what happens if the final bridge needs adjustment?
  7. What aftercare and remote support do you provide once I am back in the UK?
  8. Please itemise the quote: surgery, implants, temporary bridge, final bridge, imaging, sedation, transfers, accommodation.

What should a written guarantee cover for All-on-4 or All-on-6?

A serious full-arch guarantee is written, signed and specific. It should state, separately, how long the implants themselves are covered and how long the prosthetic bridge is covered; what happens if an implant fails to integrate in the first months; who pays for flights and accommodation if remedial work requires another visit; and what maintenance obligations (hygiene visits, night guard for grinders) keep the guarantee valid. Five years in writing is a strong benchmark for the restoration.

Treat a verbal "lifetime guarantee" as marketing until you see it on paper — a lifetime promise with no terms is usually weaker than a five-year document with clear ones. Our Turkey cost guide explains how guarantee quality should be weighed against price.

How should I compare All-on-4 and All-on-6 quotes from different clinics?

Insist on itemised, like-for-like quotes. A meaningful full-arch quote states the number of implants, the implant brand, the temporary bridge, the final bridge material, all imaging and consultations, sedation if used, and the guarantee terms — plus whether transfers and accommodation are included. Once quotes are itemised, most price gaps turn out to be hardware or material differences rather than generosity.

Expect All-on-6 to cost roughly £1,500–£2,500 more per arch than All-on-4 in Turkey; a clinic quoting the two procedures at nearly the same price is economising somewhere. The full pricing picture, including UK comparisons, is in our cost comparison.

What difference does an in-house laboratory make?

Between your surgical visit and your final bridge, a full-arch case passes through a dental laboratory repeatedly: impressions, try-ins, shade adjustments, final milling. When the laboratory is inside the clinic, those cycles take hours; when work is couriered to an external lab, they take days — a real constraint when your second visit is a fixed one-week trip. In-house milling of zirconia bridges also means the prosthodontist can adjust fit and aesthetics with you in the chair.

An external laboratory is not disqualifying — many excellent clinics use trusted partners — but you should ask how the clinic schedules lab turnaround within your visit dates, and what happens if the final bridge needs a remake while you are still in Turkey.

What red flags should rule a clinic out?

Some warning signs justify walking away regardless of price: a definitive treatment plan offered without a CT scan; refusal to name the treating clinician or the implant brand; guarantees that exist only verbally; prices dramatically below the market range (full-arch hardware and laboratory work have a real cost floor); pressure tactics such as "this price expires today"; and reviews that mention the sales process warmly but say nothing about the months after treatment.

None of these prove a clinic is bad — but each one shifts the burden of proof. With dozens of verified alternatives available in every major Turkish city, there is no reason to gamble on a clinic that fails basic transparency tests.

How many visits does full-arch treatment involve, and how should a clinic structure them?

Both All-on-4 and All-on-6 are normally delivered across two visits to Turkey. The first (usually 5–7 days) covers scanning, any extractions, implant placement and the fitting of a fixed temporary bridge; the second (usually 5–7 days, around three to four months later) replaces the temporary with the definitive bridge once the implants have integrated. A well-organised clinic maps both visits day by day before you book flights, and schedules a review appointment within the second visit.

Be cautious of any clinic proposing to compress the entire treatment — surgery to final zirconia bridge — into a single short trip. Osseointegration is biology, not scheduling, and rushing it is the most common cause of early full-arch failure. See our longevity and success-rate analysis for the evidence.

Frequently asked questions

What should I ask a clinic before booking All-on-4 or All-on-6?

Six essentials: who will place the implants and design the bridge (names and specialties); whether planning is CT-based; which implant brand and bridge material are quoted; what the written guarantee covers and for how long; how the two visits are scheduled; and what aftercare support exists once you are back in the UK. Get every answer in writing.

Can a clinic tell me whether I need All-on-4 or All-on-6 before I travel?

Provisionally, yes — most clinics will review a recent panoramic X-ray or CT scan remotely and indicate the likely procedure and price. But the definitive choice between four and six implants is confirmed only after an in-person CBCT scan and examination. A clinic that guarantees a specific procedure sight unseen is selling, not planning.

What does "Listing last verified" mean on this page?

It is the date we last checked the listing data — business name, city, phone number and website — against the source records. It does not mean we inspected the clinic or assessed its treatment quality on that date. If you find a detail that has changed, the claim form on this page is the fastest way to have it corrected.

I own one of these clinics — how do I claim or correct my listing?

Use the "Claim this listing" button next to your clinic’s entry. It opens a short form that reaches our editorial team; we verify that the request comes from the clinic’s owner or an authorised representative, then update, annotate or remove the listing as requested. Data is sourced from public business records and corrections are made promptly.

Should I choose a full-arch clinic on price alone?

No. All-on-4 and All-on-6 have a genuine cost floor — implants, specialist time and laboratory work — so an outlier price usually signals a compromise in hardware, materials or clinician experience. Compare itemised quotes covering the same brand, bridge material and guarantee, then weigh the clinic’s credentials before the final figure.

Do clinics pay to appear in these listings?

No. The listings are compiled from public business records and inclusion is free; no clinic has paid for placement, and removal or correction is available to any listed clinic through the claim form. Our disclosed clinical partner, Taki Dent, is shown separately on this page, clearly labelled, and is not part of these listings.
